Alignment doesn’t always come from pushing forward. Sometimes, it’s waiting for us when we return.
I experienced a bit of burnout and didn’t have the energy to fully commit. Life felt chaotic, and I needed space to pause and explore other options.
So I stepped away for a while.
When things eventually began to settle, I felt ready to go back. What surprised me was how natural the return felt. I picked up right where I left off, almost like settling back into a familiar rhythm. No explanations needed to anyone else or even to myself.
That’s when it became clear: alignment isn’t always about momentum. It can be found in re-entering a space at the right time.
The alignment I thought was lost or had shifted wasn’t gone at all. It was simply waiting. In that return, a sense of belonging came back. And unexpectedly, my energy did too.
